Service policy
Clear expectations for professional cleaning service.
This policy summarizes general service expectations. An accepted quote, written scope, contract, or work order may contain additional or different terms for a specific job.
Last updated: August 26, 2026
1. Scope of service
Cleaning tasks, frequency, service areas, supplies, and exclusions are based on the accepted quote, service plan, checklist, contract, or work order. Work outside the approved scope may require additional authorization and pricing.
2. Quotes and property conditions
Quotes are based on the information available at the time of review. Material differences in square footage, buildup, occupancy, access, surface condition, contamination, construction residue, or requested detail may require a revised scope or price.
3. Scheduling, cancellation, and rescheduling
Clients should provide reasonable advance notice for schedule changes. Recurring contracts may include specific notice periods, minimum commitments, or cancellation terms that control over this general policy.
4. Property access
Clients are responsible for providing safe and timely access, including keys, codes, parking, elevator access, alarm instructions, and authorization for restricted areas when applicable. Access delays may affect completion or require rescheduling.
5. Safety and service limitations
Luminex may decline or stop work when conditions present an unreasonable safety risk or when the requested work requires licensing, training, equipment, or hazardous-material procedures outside the approved scope. Biohazard, regulated clinical, hazardous chemical, pest, mold-remediation, and similar specialized work is not implied by general cleaning language.
6. Specialty surfaces and items
Clients should disclose delicate, damaged, manufacturer-restricted, high-value, or specialty surfaces and materials before cleaning. Certain stains, wear, discoloration, permanent damage, or pre-existing conditions may not be correctable through cleaning.
7. Service concerns
Report concerns promptly with enough detail to identify the area and issue. Luminex will review the concern against the agreed scope, service record, property conditions, and access information and determine a reasonable corrective step when appropriate.
8. Adjustments, credits, and refunds
Because cleaning services reserve labor, travel, materials, and scheduled time, adjustments, credits, corrective visits, or refunds are evaluated case by case and may be governed by a written agreement for recurring or contracted work.
9. Payment terms
Payment timing, deposits, invoicing, and late-payment terms are stated in the applicable quote, invoice, contract, or payment request. Clients should use approved Luminex payment channels and should not send payment-card details through the public website form.
